Ronald Lee Meyers
Ronald Lee Meyers passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 10, 2008, at his home in Ephrata.
Ronald was born in Sunnyside, Wash., on April 7, 1948, to Curt and Madeline (Lyons) Meyers.
After attending school, Ron enlisted in the Navy for a short time before receiving an honorable discharge. Ron was a member of the American Legion Post 28, Eagles Lodge 3338, and was a volunteer firefighter for District 13 for many years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, building model cars and stock car racing.
He is survived by his mother, Madeline Root; his wife, Linda; his children, Sean Meyers, Evonne Cranford-Timm, Brandi Larr and Rhonda Kleyn; grandchildren, Jacqueline, Isaiah and Alec Cranford, Tyler and Kyle Larr and Kasey Kleyn; his brother, Jim Meyers, and stepsisters, Chris White, Laren Malsan and Lorell Angle.
Preceding Ronald in death are his father, Curt Meyers, brother, Gary Meyers, sister Patricia Meyers and stepfather, Wallace Root.
A memorial service will be held at Bethlehem Chapel, 612 Nat Washington Way, Ephrata, on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
Arrangements are in care of Benson Family Funeral Service, Moses Lake. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been set up at Washington Mutual Bank under Linda Meyers.
