Dolores Hernandez DeLeon

In loving memory, Dolores Hernandez DeLeon – mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, wife, sister, friend, neighbor but most of all the daughter of a king.

Born Feb. 1, 1930, in Taft, Texas, she went to be with the Lord at 8:20 p.m. Nov. 27, 2008.

Dolores moved to Moses Lake in 1966 and lived there until 1998 when she moved to Phoenix, Ariz., to be with her family.

She is preceded in death by her son, Julian Jr., and brother, Lupe Hernandez. She is survived by her husband, Julian P. DeLeon Sr.; sister, Viola Johnson; sister-in-law, Antonia Hernandez; her sons Pablo, David, Domingo and Leo DeLeon; daughters Susie, Yolanda, Elma, Olga, Rachel and Ruth; 51 grandchildren and 54 great-grandkids.

Dolores loved to spend time with family and friends, loved fruit – especially watermelon – loved gardening and houseplants and was dedicated to her family.
