MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake police have yet to receive tips leading to the arrest of a suspect who shot and killed a Moses Lake man in early October.

Juaquin Labato-Sanchez, 35, died after her was reportedly struck in the head by shotgun pellets during a drive-by shooting on Sunny Drive Northeast.

Moses Lake police offer a $2,500 reward to anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects who shot and killed Labato-Sanchez. The reward has been offered for about one month after Moses Lake City Council approval.

On Oct. 10, at about 10:45 p.m., Labato-Sanchez was standing in front of a residence on Sunny Drive Northeast when at least two suspects opened fire while driving by in a white 1996 Pontiac Trans Am, Police Chief Dean Mitchell stated.

Labato-Sanchez was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane where he died the following day.

Two others were wounded by gunfire and survived. They were treated at Samaritan Healthcare.

“Labato-Sanchez was married and had children,” Mitchell noted.
