Quincy police seize RV, make drug arrest

QUINCY - Quincy police arrested an Ephrata woman and seized a motorhome after finding methamphetamine and other drugs inside the vehicle Nov. 24.
Connie Gay Engle, 46, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of legend drug containers, possession of legend drugs and for driving under the influence of drugs.
A Quincy police officer reportedly stopped Engle as she was driving the 1978 Chinook motorhome on Central Avenue near Division Street for equipment violations, Chief Bill Gonzales stated. While performing the traffic stop, the officer reportedly observed indications leading him to believe she was under the influence of an unidentified drug.
Police reportedly found 9.2 grams of methamphetamine and prescription drugs that appeared to be packaged for sale or delivery, he noted.
