The Grant County Board of Health will hold a public hearing at the Public Works meeting room at 124 Enterprise St. SE in Ephrata on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the hearing will be to adopt Ordinance 2008-3, amendment to the sewage ordinance and Ordinance 2008-4, amendment to the fee schedule. Anyone wishing to comment regarding this matter should appear at the meeting.

NOTICE

The Housing Authority of Grant County has developed a Public Housing Agency Plan, whish it intends to implement January 2009. The Plan is required by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and includes but is not limited to goals and objectives for the time period covered by the Plan. The Plan will be available for review at the Housing Authority office, located at 1139 Larson Boulevard in Moses Lake, until October 16, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. On that same date, at 12:45 p.m., a public hearing will be conducted by the Housing Authority Commissioners to receive verbal comment on the Plan. The meeting will be at the Housing Authority office. Written comment will also be accepted if it is received no later than the day of the public hearing by 12:00 p.m. at the Housing Authority office. NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY

FINAL SUPPLEMENTAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT FOR THE LAKE ROOSEVELT INCREMENTAL STORAGE RELEASES PROJECT

On August 29, 2008, the Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) is releasing a Final supplemental Environmental Impact State (SEIS) in accordance with the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) for the Lake Roosevelt Incremental Storage Releases Project (formerly called Lake Roosevelt Drawdown Project). This project is being undertaken as part of the Columbia River Basin Water Management Program (Management Program). This Final SEIS supplements the Final Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement for the Columbia River Management Plan issued by Ecology in February 2007. The Final SEIS provides a more thorough evaluation of impacts associated with additional releases of stored water from Lake Roosevelt than was presented in the Programmatic EIS.

Notice of Determination of Nonsignificance

Kittitas County PUD #1 Sentinel Gap Crossing Replacement

Notice is hereby given that the Kittitas County Public Utility District #1 (District) did deem complete a SEPA Environmental Checklist for an electrical distribution line replacement project crossing over the Columbia River. The District as the lead agency determined on August 25, 2008, that the proposed project described below does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An Environmental Impact Statement is not required under RCW 43.21C.030 (2) (c). This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist on file with the District's engineering consultant. Copies of the document are available to the public on request at the office of D. Hittle & Associates, Inc..

The proposed project involves replacing a District aerial power line crossing over the Columbia River at Sentinel Gap from Grant County into Kittitas County. The aerial power line crossing is located in the south half of Section 10, T15N, R23E, W.M., approximately 2 miles south of the Beverly, Washington.

Any person desiring to express his views or to be notified of the action taken on this Determination of Nonsignificance should contact the District's engineering consultant D.
