Kathleen Elsie O'Neil

Kathleen Elsie O’Neil, left this earthly journey to be with the Lord, Aug. 13, 2008, at Deaconess Medical Center, Spokane.

Born to Michael and Ellen Joyce O’Neil on Aug. 9, 1961, in Burley, Idaho, Kathy loved to fish, camp out, garden, and do arts and crafts.

Kathy earned an associate degree from Big Bend Community College and two bachelor’s degrees from Central Washington University in accounting and business administration.

She had been employed by Wal-Mart and assisted with the management of Stratford Apartments.

Kathy is survived by her life companion and partner of 25 years, Kenneth Wirth, two brothers, Tim O’Neil, an active duty Special Forces serviceman and John O’Neil, of California.

Preceding Kathy in death are her parents and one brother, Patrick O'Neil.

Kathy was a special friend to many including Amy Rohrich, the child in her life, and many other families and co-workers. She will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at the Alliance Church, 1100 Grape Drive, Moses Lake on Aug. 20 at 1 p.m., Pastor Jody Bowser officiating. A reception will follow. Arrangements are in care of Benson Family Funeral Service, Moses Lake.
