Registration begins at Columbia Basin schools

Most school start Aug. 27

COLUMBIA BASIN - It's time to register students for the 2007 to 2008 school year in Grant and Adams counties.

Ephrata

Registration is ongoing, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ephrata School District office. The office is open until Thursday this week and from Monday to Friday next week.

School starts Aug. 27.

Moses Lake

Elementary school registration is Aug. 18 to Aug. 22, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Registration is also open from noon to 3 p.m. the same week, except on Aug. 21.

Frontier Middle School students register Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Monday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Chief Moses Middle School students register Friday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Monday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Moses Lake High School registration is Aug. 18 and Aug. 19, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The school district advised new high school students should call 509-766-2666, ext. 2907 from Aug. 11 to Aug. 15 to make an appointment with a counselor.

School starts Aug. 27.

Othello

Elementary school registration is Aug. 13 and Aug. 14, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Junior high school students register from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 20 for eighth grade and Aug. 21 for seventh grade.

High school seniors register Aug. 18., juniors register Aug. 19, sophomores register Aug. 20 and freshmen register Aug. 21. Registration for high school is from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

A registration is offered for all students, Aug. 19 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

School starts Aug. 27.

Quincy

Elementary school registration is Aug. 18 to Aug. 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Junior high school registration is from Aug. 19 to Aug. 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

High school seniors register Aug. 20 from 10 a.m. to noon, and juniors register from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sophomores register Aug. 21, from 10 a.m. to noon, and freshmen register from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

School starts Sept. 2.

Royal City

Registration begins Aug. 13, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

School begins Aug. 27.

Soap Lake

Registration begins Aug. 13 and is from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

School begins Aug. 27.

Wahluke

Registration is ongoing, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

School begins Aug. 27.

Warden

Registration for secondary schools is Aug. 18, Aug. 19, Aug. 21 and Aug. 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration is the same week for elementary school, but additional information was unavailable.

School begins Aug. 25.

Wilson Creek

Registration is Aug. 18 to Aug. 22, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

School begins Aug. 26.
