Ephrata Tigers take golf tourney

TOPPENISH - The Ephrata Tigers came home victorious after traveling to Mt. Adams Country Club to take on Wapato and Grandview Tuesday.

The Tigers were victorious with the low score of 335 with Wapato in second place with a 407 and Grandview trailing with a 418, according to Ephrata coach Greg Hewitt.

Leading the Tigers as the medalist was Matt Pixlee who shot a 78 on the par 72 course. He sank two birdies on the seventh and ninth holes, and shot nine more holes at par.

Chase Millard shot an 82, making par on 10 holes.

Steve Criss shot an 86, making par on six holes.

Austin Key shot an 89, playing six holes at par and sinking a birdie on the 16th hole.

Steve Lund scored a 90 and Cameron Allen shot a 94 to round out the team score.
