Coulter picks up 12th win for SFCC

SPOKANE - Former Moses Lake Lady Chief Heather Coulter picked up her 11th and 12th wins of the season against Columbia Basin Community College.

Coulter plays for the Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC) and helped her team beat Columbia Basin 3-1 and 9-0 Wednesday in a double-header, according to family member Alan Coulter.

She struck out 17 batters and allowed only four hits to continue a 12-game winning streak.

During the streak, Coulter has an 8-0 record with 53 strikeouts, two saves and an ERA of 0.40. For the season she is 12-4 record with three saves and an ERA of 1.49.

As a 2008 Moses Lake High School graduate, Coulter continues to play with 2007 Moses Lake High School graduates Kirstin Gamboa and Amanda McKenzie.

McKenzie served as a pinch runer in the first game and scored a base hit.

Gamboa hit a line drive in game one.
