Warden beats Goldendale

Cougars 7, Timberwolves 1

WARDEN - Warden Cougar boys soccer team won big over the Timberwolves of Goldendale Wednesday by a score of 7 -1.

In the first half Warden's Scott Phillips made the first goal in the second minute and teammate Mario Landeros added another in the 19th minute of play, according to coach Donnie Edson.

In the second half, goals were scored by Susano Rivera, Scott Phillips, Miguel Santana, Manuel Martinez, and Gil Velasquez.

Goldendale's lone goal was in the 58th minute of play.

Warden fired more than twice the shots on goal than their competitors with 22 and Goldendale shooting only 10.
