Cardinals defeat Moses Lake on the tennis court

MOSES LAKE - Moses Lake Chiefs girls hosted Medical Lake Cardinals in tennis match play Wednesday.

Medical Lake beat Moses Lake 6-1.

Singles play saw four matches with Chiefs Megan Fredick defeating Ana Ayos of Medical Lake 6 -3, 6-0 in the first match, in the second Emily White of the Chiefs fell to Bri Bazo 1-6, 6-7, (0-7). Rachel Goodrich of Moses Lake was defeated by Libby Hoff-Stujensko 2-6, 3-6 in the third, and the Chiefs' Rachel Korth beaten by the Cardinals Dani Vonlene 4-6, 4-6. according to coach Jon Valencia.

In doubles action Chiefs' Nanako Era and Rachel Hofstetter fell to Cardinals Arielle Aguado and Nissa Van Meter 3-6, 0-6 in the first match. In the second match Melissa Calder and Shari Pearson of Moses Lake were defeated by Meghan Waldorf and Kylie Tereski 1-6, 4-6, and the Chiefs' Reilly Houigan and Jesssica Massart fell to Heather Butler and Jessica McDaniel 6-7 (4-7), 6-7 (2-7).
