Retired Deputy U.S. Marshal dies at age 67.

Michael A. Law, a Retired Deputy U.S. Marshal since 1997, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008, in Seattle. He was a 1959 graduate of Moses Lake High School followed by four years in the Navy. He served as a Washington State Patrolman for four years, prior to joining the Marshal service.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alex and Eileen Law of Moses Lake. He is survived by wife Jerilyn Sparks Law formerly of Ephrata, daughter Dorian Thompson of Tacoma and son Aaron Law of Seattle. He is the proud grandfather of four beautiful grandchildren, Cyrenna and Morgan Thompson and Alexander and Grace-E Law.

He is also survived by three brothers and two sisters; Maureen Short of Kirkland, Kathleen Kovalesky of Spokane, Gerald Law of Moses Lake, Patrick Law of Ellensburg and Christopher Law of Spokane.

A memorial gathering for friends and family will be held at the Moses Lake Golf & Country Club on April 12, at 1 p.m.
