Warden cleanup letter mailed

WARDEN - A letter from the Warden Beautification Committee and Warden City Council is being mailed this week to businesses and commercial properties to help improve Warden's appearance.

Andi Vincent and Bob Whitacre of the beautification committee addressed council at the Sept.11 meeting asking for help in encouraging businesses in the area to participate in a cleanup effort.

Treasurer Kriss Shuler said the letter will be sent to around 50 businesses and properties still in development.

The letter is signed by city council members.

At the Sept. 11 meeting, Whitacre said he would like a beautification plan with homeowners to take place.

Warden has already made improvements including repainting the senior center, museum and library and painting trim on the city shop.
