Jeannette Elberta Collier

Jeannette Elberta Collier went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Moses Lake with her granddaughter Debbie at her side.

She was bom Oct. 31, 1922, to Robert and Gladys Wheeler in Salem, Ore.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband C Lee Collier after 63 years of marriage in February of 2004.

She is survived by her son Ralph Collier and wife Barbara of Ephrata and her daughter Carolyn Ohnstad of Moses Lake, four granddaughters and their spouses, Debbie and Alex Martinez of Moses Lake, Andrea and Tim Scott of Ephrata, Holly and Deken Schoenberg, of Kennewick and Amy and Jeff Whitney of Helena, Mont., and five great-grandchildren, Stephanie Collier, Colby Whitney, Sydnee Martinez, Brooke Whitney and Cali Schoenberg.

Jeannette's time at Sunbridge was blessed with many special moments with family and friends both old and new. She had special parties with her friends in the, Line Dancing Grannies,The Red Hat Society and the Christian Women's Club from the Memorial Christian Church where she was a member. She loved people and was always capturing special moments with her carnera to make scrapbooks for her great-grandchildren or to share special times at the Senior Center, Retired Public Employees, Ephrata Senior Center, The Hosts Program or The American Legion Auxiliary.

Jeannette touched many lives with her sweet spirit. She made the world a better place.

Graveside service is held Monday at 9 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park in Soap Lake with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. at the Memorial Christian Church in Ephrata.

Nicoles Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
