Retired FBI agent talks of 9/11 at Ephrata Rotary tomorrow

EPHRATA - The Ephrata Rotary Club is hosting a speaker on Tuesday to mark the anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001.

Club President Jerry Hamley said Columbia Basin resident Mike McPheters, head of Basin Investigations and a retired FBI agent, is speaking about being at the Pentagon during the attacks on that date, and he assisted in getting injured people out of the building.

The club meets Tuesday at noon at the Country Deli in the banquet room. The event is open to club members and Rotarians.
