Othello hosts cleanup

| October 25, 2007 9:00 PM

OTHELLO - The City of Othello is hosting their first fall cleanup day Saturday.

The fall cleanup day will become an annual event for the city. It is restricted to yard vegetation including grass clippings, shrubs, leaves and tree clippings.

Mayor Shannon McKay said the fall cleanup will support the citywide spring cleanup by reducing the amount of refuse earlier and will help the city to look neater and cleaner.

Citizens can take yard vegetation to the loading dock located at 1016 S. Broadway Ave. from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Other garbage will not be accepted.
