Basin teams still among state's best

SEATTLE (AP) - Listed below are the latest Washington prep football rankings as voted upon by Associated Press writers and released on Wednesday, with first-place votes in parentheses, overall records and total points.

The Ephrata Tigers snuck into the Class 2A rankings for the first time this year at No. 10. The Tigers are 7-1 overall, 6-1 in Central Washington Athletic Conference play, heading into this Friday's game at Grandview.

Royal continues to be ranked third in the 1A classification. The Knights host River View on Friday.

Lind-Ritzville and Odessa maintained their positions in the 2B and 1B rankings, respectively, with Lind-Ritzville eighth going into its non-league game with Warden and unbeaten Odessa first heading into a matchup at Inchelium.
