Join up for girls basketball

MOSES LAKE - The Moses Lake Parks and Recreation Department is looking for girls in the fourth, fifth and sixth grades to participate in its 2007 after school basketball program.

The program begins the week of Nov. 12 and runs through Dec. 20. Participants must register no later than Oct. 31. There is no cost to join the program, which will emphasize basic skills, sportsmanship and teamwork.

The program's success depends on parents volunteering as coaches. Anyone interested in coaching can call 509-766-9244.
