Jets wrestling places four in Clarkston

CLARKSTON - The Moses Lake Jets, a new youth wrestling team, participated in its first tournament on Saturday in Clarkston and earned four medals.
Dominic Guerra was the champion of the 60-pound Midget Division and teammate Hunter Cruz took second. In the 80-pound Cadet Division, Nicco Moreno came in first, followed by teammate Ricco Moreno.
The Jets are coached by Anthony Hamlett of Northwest Elite Mixed Martial Arts. The team trained hard over the summer and competed in six-man, round-robin brackets at the Clarkston tournament.
