NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CHANGE/TRANSFER OF WATER RIGHT UNDER ONE (1) GROUND WATER PERMIT

TAKE NOTICE:

That Skone & Connors Produce, Inc. of Warden, Washington has made application for change/transfer of water right in order to change the points of withdrawal (POW) & change/transfer a portion of the place of use (POU) as granted under Ground Water Permit No. G3-29162P.

That said permit authorizes the withdrawal of 3,000 gallons per minute, 1,120 acre-feet per year for the seasonal irrigation of 320 acres.

That the authorized points of withdrawal are from six-(6) wells located as follows: 1) S1/2NW1/4 of Sec. 24; 2) NW1/4NW1/4NE1/4 of Sec. 24; 3) NE1/4NE1/4 of Sec. 24; 4) N1/2NW1/4SE1/4 of Sec. 23; 5) E1/2SE1/4NW1/4 of Sec. 25 and 6) SW1/4SW1/4NW1/4 of Sec. 24; ALL WITHIN T. 17 N., R. 27 E.W.M.

That the authorized place of use is located within the S1/2 of Sec. 23, T. 17 N., R. 27 E.W.M.

That they propose to correct well No.'s 5 & 6 to be located as follows: 5) SW1/4NE1/4 of Sec. 25 and 6) NW1/4NW1/4 of Sec. 24; BOTH WITHIN T. 17 N., R. 27 E.W.M.

That they propose to change a portion of the place of use to be located as follows: 244 acres within the S1/2 of Sec. 23 and 76 acres within the SE1/4 of Sec. 24; ALL WITHIN T. 17 N., R. 27 E.W.M.

All within Grant County, Washington.

Protests or objections to approval of this application must include a detailed statement of the basis for objections; protests must be accompanied by a fifty-($50.00) dollar recording fee and filed with the Department of Ecology, at the address shown below, within thirty (30) days from October 30, 2007.
