Warnick available to answer questions

MOSES LAKE - Rep. Judy Warnick, R-Moses Lake, is available tonight in Moses Lake to discuss legislative issues.

The forum is hosted by the Legislative Forum Committee of Grant Mental Healthcare and Grant County Developmental Disabilities. It is held at Grant County Healthcare, 840 E. Plum in Moses Lake. It starts at 7 p.m.

"The focus will be on mental health care, and services for the developmentally disabled," said Grant Mental Healthcare and Grant County Developmental Disabilities Executive Director Sherri Taylor.

Everyone is welcome to attend, Taylor said.

Grant County Developmental Disabilities Program Director Gail Goodwin said the meeting is informational.

Taylor said people can bring information to the meeting they wish to share related to mental health care, including opinions, comments, and concerns.

The meeting was initially set up in a panel format, but other panel members canceled.

"Because a couple of panel members had to cancel, we had to change the format," Taylor said.

Warnick can take questions from the community and research them, Goodwin said. In addition, questions can be forwarded to Reps. Bill Hinkle, R-Cle Elum, and Jan/a Holmquist, R-Moses Lake, Goodwin said.

Both indicated they were unable to attend the meeting, according to Taylor.
