Big Bend boosters holding raffle

MOSES LAKE - The Big Bend Community College Viking Booster Club is conducting a raffle to support athletic scholarship funds.

The winner earns $300 in scholarship money and has a chance to win an additional $300 by making a half-court shot during halftime of the Big Bend men's final home basketball game on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008.

If the drawing winner misses the half-court shot, they then have a chance to win $100 by making a shot from the 3-point line.

At every home league game a drawing for the half-court shot will be held with a $100 prize for asuccessful shot and a T-shirt for an unsuccessful shot. All tickets drawn will be eligible for the final drawing.

Tickets are $1 each and may be purchased from any booster club member or by calling Big Bend athletics director Maryanne Allard at 509-793-2062.

The Viking Booster Club is a non-profit organization comprised of individuals and businesses dedicated to the support of athletic programs at BBCC.
