Dan Nicholas

A memorial service was held for Dan Howard Nicholas on Sept. 5 at Holy Trinity Church in Beaverton, Ore.

Dan Nicholas died Aug. 22 of brain cancer at the age of 63.

Dan was born July 19, 1944, in Kirkland, Wash. He graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1962 - the first year the high school was opened. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Vietnam War and moved to Beaverton in 1969. He was an electrical design engineer for TekTronix and also for Z Technology, Inc. He married Harriet Hanson in 1970.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters Julie Curtis and Kari Braun, his mother Dorothy of Spokane, brother Clifford (Nick) of Moses Lake, and three grandchildren.
