Motocross returns to Ephrata Raceway

EPHRATA - Big air and rooster tails were a common sight at Ephrata Raceway Park on Sunday.

The quarter-mile asphalt track played host to motocross riders of all ages from across Washington state under sunny and mild conditions. The infield provided riders with an excellent venue for two-wheeled racing action after being transformed into a super-cross track this past spring.

The next ERP motocross event will be held on Sunday, Oct. 21. Track membership is not required for anyone wishing to compete. Registration begins at 8 a.m. with practice at 10 a.m. and racing at noon.
