Dean Stanley Weyand

Dean Stanley Weyand, 60, longtime Warden resident, passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Warden Chapel with Bishop Kay Lybbert conducting, Interment with military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.

Dean is preceded by his father Dan Weyand and Mother Pearl Miller.

After a valiant fight with cancer his surviving family includes his wife Carol Weyand, sons Daniel, Andrew, and Jordon, daughters-in-law, Cynthia and Lauren.

Grandchildren Jeffery, Brad, Jada, Hannah, and Heather, brothers Ron Weyand, Jay Warwick and other extended family.

Dean has received an honorable discharge from the Army and is very active in his religion. He has enjoyed going on trips with his wife to the Oregon coast. Other hobbies that he enjoyed were snowboarding, motorcycles, bicycles, even participating in a 70-mile ride for a charity event. He also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed as a husband, father, grandfather, work associate, and a friend.
