NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Grant County Board of Commissioners in the Commissioners' Hearing Room, Court House, Ephrata, Washington on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at 9:30 am.

The purpose of the public hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from low-and moderate-income persons and persons residing in the Grant, Adams, and Lincoln County Areas.

$173,000.00 will be available to Grant County and the North Columbia Community Action Council (NCCAC) to fund public service activities that principally benefit low-and moderate-income persons.

The draft applications for the CDBG / Public Service Grant proposal will be available for review at the Grant County Commissioners Office on and after the previously stated hearing date. Comments may also be submitted in writing to Grant County Commissioners, at CDBG / PSA. Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, WA, 98823 until noon, November 26th, 2007.

Comments on the County's and Community Action Agency's performance and use of their 2007 CDBG Public Service Grant awards will also be received.

The Grant County Commissioners Hearing Room is handicap accessible. Arrangements to reasonably accommodate the needs of special classes of citizens, including handicap accessibility will be made upon receiving twenty-four (24) hour advance notice.
