Playoff times set for football teams

Odessa 54, Lacrosse-Washtucna 6; ACH 52, Garfield-Palouse 14; Royal 60, Lakeside 7

COLUMBIA BASIN - The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association finalized game times and locations on Monday for Columbia Basin area teams in their state quarterfinal football matchups.

The Othello Huskies, 27-21 overtime winners over Colville last weekend, will play the undefeated Tumwater Thunderbirds this Saturday at Pasco's Edgar Brown Stadium. Kickoff for their 2A quarterfinal is set for 4 p.m.

Prior to that game, the Royal Knights will play their 1A quarterfinal against the Cascade-Leavenworth Kodiaks, a 1 p.m. start at Edgar Brown Stadium. The Knights defeated Lakeside 60-7 in their first-round game.

The Almira/Coulee-Hartline Warriors, fresh off a 52-14 blitzing of Garfield-Palouse in their 1B state opener, travel to Kennewick's Lampson Stadium on Friday at 4 p.m. The Warriors face undefeated Touchet for a spot in the semifinals.

Top-ranked and undefeated Odessa travels to West Valley High School in Spokane for its 1B quarterfinal against Colton-Pullman Christian. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. on Friday. Odessa rolled to a 54-6 win over Lacrosse-Washtucna last Friday.
