Big Bend women scrimmage on Saturday

MOSES LAKE - Big Bend Community College's women's basketball team is hosting a scrimmage this Saturday at the DeVries Activity Center.

The Lady Vikings will tip off the scrimmage at noon against Peninsula Community College. Peninsula will meet Blue Mountain Community College at 1 p.m., and Big Bend and Blue Mountain face off at 2 p.m.

Big Bend's first regular-season contest is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 16, a home game against Bellevue Community College. Tip-off is 6 p.m.

The Lady Vikings are under the guidance of first-year head coach Preston Wilks and looking to improve upon an 11-17 overall record from last season.
