Notice of Application and Optional DNS

AGRO Minerals Fertilizer of Spokane submitted an application on Oct. 16, 2007 to construct a 14,976 square foot storage building at 13583 Wheeler Road. The application was determined to be complete and ready for review on October 30. The project has been determined to be consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan, and the following development regulations are applicable to the project: Moses Lake Municipal Code (MLMC) Title 14: Environmental Regulations, Title 16: Building and Construction, and Title 20: Development Regulations.

Environmental review is required for this project. The City of Moses Lake has reviewed the proposed project for probably adverse environmental impacts and expects to issue a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) for this project. The optional DNS process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This may be your only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project. Conditions have been identified to mitigate adverse environmental impacts through SEPA. The project review process may include additional mitigation measures under applicable codes.

Written comments on this project will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Nov. 20, 2007. Persons who want to be informed of future actions, or the final decision, on this proposal should provide their name and address to the project planner. Parkside Place Major Plat: Nick Daschel of Vancouver, WA submitted an application for a major subdivision with variances on Oct. 12, 2007. The application was determined to be complete and ready for review on Nov. 1, 2007. The proposal is to subdivide 4.47 acres of land into 18 residential lots in the R-1, Single Family Zone. The site is located on a portion of Park Orchard Tract 37, east of Paxson Drive, south of Oregon Street, and north of Virginia Street. Luta Street will be extended through the plat to intersect with Paxson Drive.
