NOTICE OF FILING OF 2008 PRELIMINARY BUDGET
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Preliminary Budget for the 2008 fiscal year has been filed with the Finance Director. Copies of the preliminary budget may be examined and/or obtained at the Office of the Finance Director during normal business hours.
The City Council shall meet on October 23, 2007 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers and following a public hearing, shall consider the first reading of an ordinance adopting the 2008 budget. The City Council shall meet on November 13, 2007 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers and consider the second reading of an ordinance fixing and adopting the 2008 budget. Any taxpayer will have the right to appear and provide written and oral comments for or against any part of the budget and ask questions concerning the entire budget at the public hearing.

NOTICE OF ROAD CONSTRUCTION
Coral Construction Co. will begin new guardrail installation on the following three locations: H-SE Road 1/4 mile south of HWY 262; 7-NE Road East of Stratford Road-West of K-7-NE; and Sunland Road West of Silica Rd. Said construction will begin on Oct. 31, 2007 and end approximately Dec. 11, 2007. Work consists of removal of existing metal beam guardrail or cable barrier and the new installation of upgraded W-beam guardrail and current design terminal ends, permanent signing, and delineators in accordance with the plans and specifications.
