Sunrise Water Association has made application to the United States Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, for a loan to purchase a well site and to make infrastructure improvements to its water distribution system.
Sunrise Water Association will hold a public information meeting to introduce its members and interested public to the project. The purpose of the meeting will be to give the citizenry an opportunity to become acquainted with the proposed projects and to comment on such items as economic and environmental impacts, service area, alternatives to the project, or other issues. The date of the meeting is scheduled for Saturday June 9, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. in the Association Office located at 7010 Bellevue Street SE, Othello, WA 99344 (Marine View Heights).
The location of the infrastructure projects will be in the NW quarter of the SW quarter of Sec. 17, and the SE. quarter of the SE quarter of Section 18, All in Township 17 North, Range 29 East, in Grant County, Washington.
