Moses Lake soccer team has three all-leaguers

Ramirez, Petersen, Bruneel chosen for All-CBL teams

MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake Chiefs boys soccer team placed three players on the All-Columbia Basin League squads.

Junior forward Richie Ramirez was a first team selection. Freshman midfielder Devin Petersen and senior forward Seth Bruneel made the second team.

Other first team choices were goalkeeper Edgar Garcia (Davis); defenders Tommy McLaughlin (Davis), Felipe Ruelas (Eisenhower), Reggie Orozco (Pasco), Dino Catak (Richland) and Giovanni Martinez (Wenatchee); midfielders Hector Valdovinos (Davis), Shayne Kelly (Pasco), Marco Acevedo (Pasco), Joseph Pak (Richland) and Victor Navarro (Wenatchee); and forwards Bryce Wilson (Pasco), Keith Ferris (Richland) and Rocky Snyder (Pasco).

The second team was rounded out with goalkeeper Jose Ramirez (Walla Walla); defenders Tyler Thorp (Davis), Noe Gutierrez (Eisenhower), Jim Lesko (Richland) and Jamie Ramirez (Wenatchee); midfielders Hector Vega (Eisenhower), Eddie Mendoza (Pasco), Matt Hendricks (Richland) and Angel Valverde (Walla Walla); and forwards Jose Rivera (Eisenhower), Alfredo Farias (Pasco), Efren Manriquez (Davis) and Nick Wood (Richland).

Pasco's Mike Pardini was the CBL Coach of the Year, with Davis goalkeeper Edgar Garcia garnering Player of the Year honors.
