Cougar Golf Classic takes place June 4

MOSES LAKE — Washington State University's Athletic Foundation and the Grant County Cougar Club are hosting the 2007 Toyota Moses Lake Cougar Golf Classic on Monday, June 4, at the Moses Lake Golf Club.

Registration is limited to the first 160 paid golfers. The cost is $175 per person, which includes a $50 athletic foundation gift credit. The cost is $40 for anyone wanting to participate only in that day's banquet.

The event begins at 8:30 a.m. with a breakfast buffet and registration. Registration includes a greens fee, golf cart usage, range balls, a tee prize, breakfast, lunch, evening buffet and access to the evening's guest speakers from WSU athletics.

The golfing begins at 10:30 a.m. with a shotgun start. A boxed lunch will be provided after the ninth hole. A social hour follows the tournament at 3:30 p.m., with an auction and program taking place at 4:30 p.m. and dinner served at 5:30 p.m.

Various levels of sponsorships are available. Gray sponsors, for $375, get recognition on course signage and in the event program, course use for one person and a $250 athletic foundation credit. Crimson sponsors ($750) get a premium course sign, program acknowledgment, golf for two paired with a celebrity player, and a $500 foundation credit. Cougar sponsors ($1,500) receive golf for four, President's Associate status, and other related privileges.
