Area builder marks 18th anniversary

SUNNYSIDE — Valley Manufactured Housing Inc. celebrated their 18th anniversary and the delivery of their 5,000th home on Thursday.

The celebration hosted the homeowner and the 180 workers for a barbecue lunch.

Valley Manufactured Housing began manufacturing homes 18 years ago with seven employees and no trained labor force pool. The company continually expanded operations to its present day 180-person workforce, which turns out a house per day.
