NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held May 29, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the Grant County Commissioner's Hearing Room on the adoption of an ordinance modifying certain sections of Chapter 11.04 of the Grant County Code entitled "Maximum Speed Limits".

The general purpose of said ordinance is to establish or change the maximum speed limits on certain county roads. Anyone may appear and be heard for or against the proposed ordinance.

SPEED LIMITS AN ORDINANCE amending Sections

11.04.035 of the Grant County Code.

AN ORDINANCE relating to maximum speed limits and amending Section 11.04.035 of the Grant County Code.

BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington:

This is hereby official notice that the Othello City Council has scheduled a Public Hearing to review and receive public comments on the City of Othello's 2007 update to the Comprehensive Par-ks and Recreation Plan. The Public Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, May 29, 2007, shortly after 7:00 p.m., and will be held in the City Coun-cil Chambers located at 500 E. Main Street. All public hearings are open to the public and our citizens are encouraged to attend.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Grant County has received a SEPA Checklist from Todd Barker, Othello, for grading on site in the Rural Recreation Commercial zone by the removal of 1,000 yards of material from a 1.19 acre parcel. After reviewing the Environmental Checklist and other information available in the Planning office a Mitigated Determination of Non-significance has been issued.
