Robert Lynn Hopperstad, 62, of Moses Lake, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2007, at his home near the family he loved so much.

He graduated in 1962 from Prosser High School and joined the Navy soon after, where he served on the USS Dale and on river boats in Vietnam.

After his honorable discharge, he moved to Seattle and met a feisty gal named Mary Ann Gregg. They were married on Nov. 3, 1968 in Seattle.

His son Patrick was born on July 16, 1972, and his daughter Mary was born on July 4, 1976. He managed Stack Steel Heat Treat in Seattle for many years before moving his family to Moses Lake in 1992, where he worked at Security Title with his brothers Dick and Norm before eventually managing Stewart Title.

During Bob's 62 years on earth he excelled as a husband, father, brother, uncle, Renaissance man, and practical joker. His kindness and generosity touched the lives of everyone around him on a daily basis, and those who knew and loved him will be forever changed.
