Mary Perdue

Mary Perdue passed away March 28, 2007, after a long struggle with cancer.

She was born in Toppenish, Wash., on March 10, 1947.

Her husband of 37 years, John; and four children, Christopher; Robert and his wife Melody and two grandchildren Cayden and Aubrey; Debora; Laura Ledeboer and her husband Cassius, survives her.

Also surviving are her parents Fausto and Esther Cruz, of Moses Lake and four brothers John and his wife Carol, Dan and his wife Kathy; Joe and his wife Peggy; and Richard and his wife Julie.

Mary came to the Moses Lake area in 1956 where her parents farmed for many years. She graduated from Moses Lake High, and Big Bend Community College. Most of her life was dedicated to raising the children. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and the kids. She will be missed greatly.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 2, at 10 a.m., at Kayser's Chapel of Memories at 831 South Pioneer Way, Moses Lake. Viewing will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

Interment will be at Pioneer Memorial Gardens, 14403 Rd 2 NE. A gathering of family and friends will be at Joe's house at 995 Road O S.E. after the graveside services to celebrate Mary's life.
