WENATCHEE — The Moses Lake Chiefs got wins in two events each by Aaron Wafer and Billy Matthews to defeat Cashmere 76-65 in a non-league track meet held in Wenatchee Wednesday.

Wafer, the defending 4A 200-meter dash champion, won that event along with the 400 dash. Wafer ran the 200 in a time of 22.94, winning the event by nearly one-half of one second. In the 400, Wafer ran a 52.52, easily surpassing the 53.19 run by Eastmont's Aaron McGregor.
