Windermere makes donations

MOSES LAKE — A Moses Lake real estate company made several donations to area organizations.

Windermere Real Estate/K-2 Realty LLC recently donated $500 to Make a Wish Foundation and $1,000 to the Moses Lake Food Bank, which was presented to Peny Archer and Jeff Powall. The business is also donating $684 to New Hope Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.

"We make these donations into our own community because we do business in our community," said Owner-Broker Lois Kincaid. "It's a giving back thing, giving back to your own community."

Kincaid said the donations are all of the company's funds for 2006, and Windermere is looking for other organizations to make donations with 2007 funds.

"We try to something a little different every year so we're not always making donations to the same place," she said.
