Jean Catherine Burton

Jean Catherine Burton was born March 20, 1931. She was the only child of Gerald and Clementine Mersch in Bellevue, Iowa.

She graduated from Immaculate Conception Academy, Pensacola Junior College and Big Bend Community College.

On July 5, 1952, she married the love of her life, Lawrence Edward Burton. Together they had four children. She retired from the city of Moses Lake in 1991. She was preceded in death by both her parents, her stepmother Marie K. Mersch and her stepsister Christine.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Larry and their children, Jim (Maria) of Ephrata, Steve (Evelyn) of Fredericksburg,Va., Bob (Theresa) of Moses Lake and Patty (Danny) Bernard, also of Moses Lake, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
