Sealed bids, plainly marked "BID for 3 NW Rd., CRP 07-07, will be received by Grant County at the Office of the Board of County Commissioners located in the County Courthouse, P.O. Box 37, 35 C Street NW-Room 207, Ephrata, WA, 98823, until 1:45 P.M., Tuesday, July 10, 2007 and will then and there be opened and publicly read for the construction of the improvements.

All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. No conditional bid bond will be accepted. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Grant County.

Requests for Bids

The Housing Authority of Grant County is requesting bids for labor and materials to develop an area for a Recycle Center located in Soap Lake, WA.

Bid packages are available at 1139 Larson Blvd., Moses Lake, WA, or by calling Tami Torrey at (509) 762-5541. Bidders may bid on any single item or all items in the scope of work. Bids must be submitted on the bid form no later than 2:00 p.m., July 13, 2007.

All bids over $25,000 must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond or certified cashier's check made payable to Housing Authority of Grant County in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. Cost of bonds must be included in the bid price.

This project is funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. All related regulations and requirements will apply. Contractors must meet all HUD qualifications for contracting and pay all employees established Davis Bacon wages as determined by HUD.

The Housing Authority has the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any minor irregularities in the bids. Passed by the City Council of the City of Warden, Washington, this 12th day of June, 2007.
