Othello golfer part of pro-am title team

MATTAWA — Rick Giddings of Othello was part of a foursome that took first place Monday at the Desert Aire Golf Course Pro-Am tournament sponsored by Les Schwab.

The tournament's scramble format saw Giddings and his teammates compile a final net score of 51, good for the first-place prize of $415. Giddings' teammates were Todd Sprong, Marty Wilder and Roger Hockman.
