More than 1,000 bikes in Moses Lake

| June 25, 2007 9:00 PM

MOSES LAKE — Hundreds of motorcycles covered the Grant County Fairgrounds from Thursday to Sunday.

The Christian Motorcyclists Association was celebrating the Western National Rally.

It was the first time the event was held in Moses Lake.

It began with several speeches and seminars and a concert featuring The Jeremy Riddle Band.

The motorcyclists began to wrap up the celebration with a parade beginning at the fairgrounds extending to the downtown area and ending on Stratford Road with a bike show.

"Our national events are similar to family reunions combined with a revival and are family oriented," Association Northwest Region Evangelist Joe Maxwell said.
