High school pool open on Monday

MOSES LAKE — After being closed this week for maintenance, the Moses Lake High School Pool will re-open on Monday, June 25.

The pool's new hours will be from 5:45 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; from 5-7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays; and from 8:30-10 a.m. on Saturdays.

Open swimming costs are as follows: Adults (18 and over) $3; students (ages 5-17) $2.50; children 4 and under free. Punch cards are also available for frequent swimmers and cost $37.50 for 15 uses for adults, and $22.50 for 15 uses for students.

Swim lessons will be offered in two-week blocks beginning June 25. The half-hour sessions take place on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 5 p.m. The cost is $30 for four weeks. Registration for competitive swimming through the Moses Lake Parks and Recreation Department is available online at www.mlmr.org.
