Harry "Bud" Haydeen

Harry "Bud" Haydeen, 77 years of age, born on April 30, 1930, passed away on June 10. Bud was an avid model railroad collector, slot car enthusiast and a U.S.M.C.R., which he served in the Korean War.

Bud is survived by his wife of 13 years; Cheryl "Sheri" Haydeen, four children; Joy Louise Lee from Newport, Ore., Larry and Leslie Haydeen, both from Rainier, Ore., and Lauren Cassidy, from Issaquah, Wash. Included also are 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; his only sister Dixie Johannssen, Kirkland, Wash., and many extended family members. He is preceded in death by parents Harry and Joy Haydeen of Olympia, Wash., and stepdaughter Lynnea Travis.

Bud will be dearly missed by many friends of long standing on both sides of the mountains. May he have eternal peace. Services will be held on Friday, June 15, 2007, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Peninsula Evangelical Methodist Church at 2403 W. Texas St.
