Notice is hereby given that a Preliminary Plat and SEPA Checklist were received on May 18, 2007 from Bert Roylance (Designated Agent: Columbia Northwest Engineering, Jim Keyes, 321 S Beech St., Moses Lake, WA 98837, 509-766-1226); and were found to be technically complete and preliminarily appear to be consistent with the Unified Development Code and other applicable State and local requirements as of June 7, 2007. PROJECT: A subdivision of a single 177.28-acre parcel into four (4) residential lots and one (1) agricultural/open space lot in the Agricultural Zone of Grant County. Request for Proposals

The Quincy Columbia Basin Irrigation District is requesting proposals from vendors to supply financial suite software. The software should utilize a client/server configuration, able to be deployed on a Progress database engine and should include the following: GL, AP, ACH payment capability, Bank Reconciliation, Payroll, with remote time card entry capability, Human Resources, Budgeting, Financial Reporting that is GASB 34 compliant, Project/Grant management, Fixed Assets, Inventory, electronic document attachment and cataloging capability and electronic report archival capability. The software should also be modifiable to allow for possible future replacement of the District's irrigation water system software. The proposals shall be evaluated on the ability to meet the District's needs and price. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and request new proposals.

Written submissions will be received at the main office of the Quincy Columbia Basin Irrigation District, P.O. Box 188, Quincy, WA 98848 until 4:30 p.m. on June 25, 2007.

NOTICE

Moses Lake-The Grant County Mosquito Control District #1 is continuing with its annual mosquito control services. The biological products Altosid A.L.L. and Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (b.t.i.) Are being used this year in the aerial larviciding program. These products are applied to swamps or other standing water where mosquito larva are present.

The biological product Bacillus sphaericus or Temephos will be applied to sewer ponds and similar standing water high in organic matter.

Products with the active ingredients naled or synthetic pyrethroid will be used in the night time adulticiding program.

These control operations will be on going through out the mosquito season, March to October. For more information contact the District office in Moses Lake at 765-7731.
