REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

General Information and Purpose: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Columbia Basin Ground Water Management Area (GWMA) will accept proposals from firms specializing in hydro-geological assessments with emphasis on identifying and mapping stratigraphy units for identified wells in the study area. The GWMA has identified the Franklin Conservation District (FCD) as the contracting authority. The resulting contract will be signed by the prime consultant and the FCD District Manager, but the work will be directed and approved by the Boards of County Commissioners from Adams, Franklin, Grant and Lincoln counties and the GWMA Administrative Board.

Grant County issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (WAC Chapter 197-11) for the following project:

Construction and location of a 30,000 square foot steel roof facility on approxi- mately 14.82 acres in the Rural Light Industrial Zoning District by Eldorado Stone, near Royal City, Wa.

After a review of a completed Environmental Checklist and other information on file with the Planning Department (File #07-4805), Grant County has determined that this proposal does not have a probabkklle significant adverse impact on the environment, subject to the required mitigation.

Moses Lake Senior Apartments: Village Development LLC submitted an application for an 84-unit senior apartment building on March 23, 2007. Additional required information was submitted on April 11, May 2, 15, and 23, and June 4. The application was determined to be complete and ready for review on June 5, 2007. The proposal is to short plat the property and build a senior apartment building at 816 Sharon Avenue, north of the Moses Lake High School.
