Helen Mary Jones Sircin Anderson

Helen passed away on Saturday, July 28 at Sunbridge in Moses Lake where she had been living since March 2006. Helen was born in Mitchell, Neb., on Nov. 28, 1915, to William Walter and Frances Ella (Warner) Jones. She was the oldest of three daughters. She got her schooling in Nebraska. Helen married Leland Harold Sircin in Harrison, Neb., on Sept. 27, 1932. She had a mail route there in Nebraska and carried and delivered mail for some time in her early years of marriage, while her husband was a cowboy for a large cattle rancher. In 1940 they decided to head west and settled in the Boise, Idaho area and started farming and raising cattle.

They had two sons and a daughter, Harold, Alton and Barbara. Later divorced, she married Eino Anderson of Moses Lake. Mr. Anderson preceded her in death on April 12, 1988. She is also preceded in death by both parents and her two sons, Alton on April 17, 1987, and Harold on Oct. 7, 1997.

Survivors include her only daughter Barbara Jean Young of Moses Lake and her two younger sisters Lila Whipple of Meridian, Idaho and Wilma Sircin of Moses Lake.

Also surviving are six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
