Walleyes' playoff schedule changes

MOSES LAKE — The time and location for the Moses Lake Walleyes' Junior American Legion district playoff opener has changed.

The Walleyes will take on the Kennewick Dusters in a first-round, loser-out game Thursday at 4 p.m. at Big Bend Community College. The teams had been scheduled to meet Friday at 1 p.m. at Richland High School.

The winner of Thursday's game advances to the double-elimination portion of the Legion playoffs and will face either Richland at 10 a.m. Friday or West Valley-Yakima at 1 p.m. Friday. All double-elimination games will take place at Richland High School.

The top two seeds from districts advance to state tournament play beginning Aug. 2 in Spokane.
