Lelia Murphy

Lelia Murphy, 27, lifelong Moses Lake resident, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2007, at her mother's home in Moses Lake.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 20, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Moses Lake with a luncheon to follow. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory.

Lelia was born Sept. 27, 1979, in Klamath Falls, Ore. She received her diploma through Columbia Basin Alternative School and her certified nursing license from Big Bend Community College. Lelia enjoyed taking her children on long walks at the park and bowling.

Lelia is survived by her three children, Anthony Murphy, Abel Fuentes, Alexis Fuentes; boyfriend, Rolando Fuentes and his mother Damiana; mother, Shirley Murphy; father, Jose Mario Zamora; sister, Mariana Murphy- Zamora (Fabian Barrientoz); brother, Joey Murphy (Liz Delgado); half brothers, Robert Murphy (Nanci) and James Murphy (Cindy); half sisters, Marsha Myer (Richard) and Kathy Nelson (Kathy).

Lelia enjoyed teasing, especially with her nieces and nephews. Education was very important to Lelia and she dreamed of children attending college so in lieu of flowers The Lelia Murphy Scholarship Fund has been set up at Wheatland Bank in Moses Lake in order to ensure the children's education.

Lelia Murphy will be greatly missed by her children, family and manyfriends.
